2. Scope and legal framework
This policy applies to visits to the website, online store, cart and checkout, product enquiries, contact forms, orders, customer support and related contract performance.
We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and its ordinances. Where the EU GDPR applies in an individual case, processing is based in particular on contract performance and pre-contractual steps, legal obligations, legitimate interests or consent.
3. Data we process
- Identity and contact data such as name, email address, billing and shipping address and, where applicable, telephone number.
- Order and contract data such as products, variants, quantities, prices, shipping method, payment method, order and return status.
- Communications submitted through forms, email or support, including an optional order number.
- Technical usage data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser, device, operating system, referrer and security events.
- Cart, session and privacy-choice data needed to provide store functions or remember settings.
Please do not send health data or other sensitive personal data through the contact form.
4. Hosting and server logs
When the website is accessed, our hosting and security providers process technical connection data to deliver pages, prevent misuse, diagnose errors and maintain reliable operation.
The private test address is provided through OpenAI Sites. The later public site is governed by the hosting configuration then in use. Technical logs are kept only for as long as required for operation, security and troubleshooting.
5. Store, cart and Wix services
Products, stock, cart, contact form and checkout are connected to services of Wix.com Ltd. and its affiliates. Technical session data and the store, order or contact data entered for the selected function are transmitted to Wix.
To associate an anonymous cart, the website stores a technically necessary visitor token in browser local storage. The current storefront does not provide a separate Your Nutrition customer account. Checkout opens in a secured environment provided by Wix.
6. Orders and contracts
For an order, we process the data required for review, confirmation, payment, delivery, returns and support. Without required information, the order cannot be fulfilled.
Order and invoice data is also processed to comply with commercial, tax and accounting duties and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7. Payments
Depending on the method selected at checkout, required payment data is transmitted to Wix and the payment provider identified there. The current store configuration has credit or debit card payments through Stripe and PayPal active. The options actually shown at checkout are decisive.
We generally do not receive full card or access credentials. We receive payment status, amount, reference and information needed for accounting or refunds. The privacy terms of the provider shown at checkout also apply to payment processing.
8. Shipping and returns
For delivery, required recipient data is transmitted to Swiss Post and, where applicable, another logistics partner identified for the shipment. Return and complaint data is processed as required to resolve the matter.
9. Contact form and support
The contact form is transmitted to us through Wix Forms. We process name, email, topic, message, optional order number and the recorded acknowledgement of this policy solely to handle and follow up the enquiry.
The form is not a newsletter subscription and does not trigger newsletter or advertising messages.
10. Analytics, advertising and social media
The website offers optional privacy-friendly Your Nutrition analytics. It activates only after consent and records page views, product interactions, product-compass use and unsuccessful store searches without names, email addresses or full IP addresses. A daily session identifier is shortened and hashed before storage; raw events are deleted after 90 days. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are additionally configured as optional integrations in the connected Wix store and checkout environment.
The Wix environment therefore uses a cookie banner with Necessary, Functional, Analytics and Marketing categories. Non-essential analytics and marketing technologies may be loaded only after the relevant choice. Consent can be changed or withdrawn for the future through the cookie settings.
Optional Instagram profile previews
The homepage can display profile previews from Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). Instagram is only loaded when you select “Load Instagram posts”. Your browser then connects directly to Meta. This may transmit your IP address, browser information and the page you visit. Meta may use cookies, link the visit to an Instagram account you are signed into, and process data outside Switzerland and the EEA, including in the USA. See Meta’s privacy policy.
We do not remember your choice across page visits. “Hide Instagram” removes the preview and prevents further requests from that preview; it does not delete data or cookies already received by Meta. You can also open the profile directly without loading it here.
Blog previews
We retrieve public article information from marcostrub.ch on the server and cache it for up to one hour. The initially displayed images are stored with this website. When the blog changes, new images may be loaded from marcostrub.ch, which receives the connection data needed to serve those images. The feed does not set analytics or advertising cookies.
11. Fonts and media
Website fonts are served locally from this website, so loading the fonts does not itself connect to Google Fonts. Product and campaign images are generally served locally; live store data may be retrieved from Wix infrastructure.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses necessary storage for visitor tokens, cart, security and privacy settings. Only after analytics consent, an anonymous daily session identifier and selected usage events are stored for up to 90 days. After consent, the connected Wix environment may additionally use analytics and marketing technologies from Google and Meta. Details are provided in the Cookie policy.
Preview privacy settings can be reopened through the footer link. In the Wix store and checkout environment, the permanently available Wix cookie-settings control is used for this purpose.
13. Recipients and processors
- Hosting, infrastructure, security and technical support providers.
- Wix.com Ltd. and affiliates for store, cart, checkout and forms.
- Payment providers according to the method selected at checkout.
- Swiss Post and any other logistics partner identified for a delivery.
- Google and Meta for analytics or marketing, but only to the extent covered by the relevant consent.
- IT, accounting, legal and advisory providers where necessary.
- Authorities or other parties where disclosure is legally required or needed to enforce rights.
14. International disclosures
Some technical providers or subprocessors are outside Switzerland, in particular in the European Economic Area, Israel and the United States. Personal data may therefore be processed in those countries.
We rely on a Swiss adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, including recognised standard contractual clauses and necessary supplementary measures. In individual cases, another statutory exception or consent may apply.
15. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as required for its purpose, legal obligations or the establishment and defence of claims. It is then deleted or anonymised.

16. Security
We and our providers use appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, including encrypted connections, access controls, security monitoring and risk-based provider selection.
Completely risk-free transmission or storage cannot be guaranteed.
17. Individual rights
- Information about whether and which personal data is processed.
- Correction of inaccurate and completion of incomplete data.
- Deletion or restriction where no statutory or overriding reason prevents it.
- Release or transfer of certain electronically processed data where statutory requirements are met.
- Withdrawal of consent for the future and objection to certain processing.

18. Supervisory authority and complaints
Individuals may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Where the EU GDPR applies, a complaint may also be made to the competent European supervisory authority.
19. Changes
We update this policy when legal requirements, store features or processing change. The version published here with its stated date applies.
